This one stood out to me straight away. The detail in the tūī and the flowers is really impressive, especially knowing it’s made from clay. The tūī looks really lifelike, and the colours give it a nice pop without being too much. This piece will go beautifully in any room. We currently have it in the office and it certainly has brightened up the room.

I’m just 9 years old and my mum booked this workshop for me as i was interested in clay arts. I love clay arts and finaly got to learn it. I went there as a person eho knows nothing about clay, but i am a pro after join the class.

I love the clay art workshop and Emy is so passionate about clays. I booked the class to enjoy it with my 9 years old and we loved it. We had great time and its definitely worth every penny. We would come back for more workshops. Emy’s creations are amazing to be purchased as well. Highly recommended

It was my first time doing a workshop like this, so I was a little nervous at the start, but after the cacao ceremony I was able to relax quite a bit. It was a kind and friendly group of people and it was an international group with a wide range of ages as well. Although the base of the artwork was the same, everyone's finished work was completely different, which I found quite interesting. Once I decided on the design, I focused on it a lot, and I felt that it is very important to have time in my daily life to immerse myself in something without thinking about anything else. Of course, you can also chat while you are working. Emy respects your way of doing things. After the art is completed, you can have your work framed nicely. I display it in my living room and enjoy seeing it every day. If you are wondering whether to participate in this workshop, I recommend you give it a go.

This was my second workshop with Emy, and I really enjoyed the chance to build on the skills I learned in the first one. The pace was mindful and grounding, and the weaving process was both creative and relaxing. I especially loved Emy’s beautiful singing during the Cacao ceremony — it made the whole experience feel extra special and heart-centred. I left with a piece of artwork I’m proud of and a deep sense of calm. Highly recommend!

This is my third time joining the workshop and it’s as wonderful as the first two times. Actually it’s even better since this time my friends joined as well! This half of the year, I have been intentionally encouraging myself to seek inspirational material, feeding my love for art therapy. I found myself at Emy's Woven Art Clay workshop held at Pātaka Art + Museum. Working with my hands and being in a supportive space enabled a peaceful reconnection with oneself. Emy has the most beautiful aura, creating openness and leading the group with positive affirmations. Time and space completed melted away! I thoroughly recommend this to anyone who wishes to mould themselves, explore, and embrace stillness. It was much about the art as it was mindfulness. Thank you Emy x

I had a wonderful time at the mindful art workshop led by Emy. In my work as a therapist and Mum, I do a lot of giving, so it felt like such a gift to have this dedicated space for reflection, creativity and connection. The atmosphere was welcoming, tranquil and spacious. I loved the cacao ceremony and Emy's beautiful singing, and the time to journal and contemplate what we are grateful for. The clay art was a new process for me and I enjoyed getting into the process of it, without focusing on the end result.
Emy made sure we were well looked after with yummy snacks and tea provided throughout the afternoon, and even an art giveaway to three lucky participants. I really appreciated this space to pause and focus on me.

I recently attended the Mindful Clay Workshop with Emy, and it was such a beautiful, uplifting experience. From the moment we began with the cacao and gratitude ritual, I felt myself slow down and reconnect with the present. Emy’s gentle guidance made creating my own clay art feel effortless and joyful, especially since I'm a beginner with very little artistic sense, I felt completely at ease.

The art I made is now in my office, along with one of Emy's pieces, and I love them. They're colorful, vibrant, and a daily reminder of the positivity in my life.

The whole atmosphere of the workshop was welcoming and inspiring, and I left feeling both relaxed and creatively fulfilled. I highly recommend this workshop.

I met Emy when she attended my KGHypnobirthing antenatal course when pregnant with her first baby! Emy is a precious person and it was a privilege to attend her workshop with my teenager, who is very creative. It was a special time together, crafting side by side and taking time out of busy family life. Emy created a calm, supportive atmosphere and the group got on well. I'd highly recommend to any parent with a creative teen!

Emy’s workshop was such a wonderful experience! Before we started with art we did a lovely cacao ceremony and some breath work meditation which gave us the right mindset for the intentional art session. The topic was growth and Emy guided us through the topic that reflected then in our art work. Emy showed us amazing techniques on how to handle clay on paper and we were able to use lots of different tools that were provided .
It was such a beautiful escape from the daily life and a long needed break for me, a busy toddler mum! It was so refreshing to be creative again and to reflect on your life while making art. We also had delicious nibbles and a fun raffle !
