Emy has such a beautiful wairua (soul/spirit) and you can feel it embraced in all her mahi (work) ❤️ so grateful and inspired to be more creative now!! It was my first time doing any artsy workshops too!

This was my second workshop with Emy, and I really enjoyed the chance to build on the skills I learned in the first one. The pace was mindful and grounding, and the weaving process was both creative and relaxing. I especially loved Emy’s beautiful singing during the Cacao ceremony — it made the whole experience feel extra special and heart-centred. I left with a piece of artwork I’m proud of and a deep sense of calm. Highly recommend!

This is my third time joining the workshop and it’s as wonderful as the first two times. Actually it’s even better since this time my friends joined as well! This half of the year, I have been intentionally encouraging myself to seek inspirational material, feeding my love for art therapy. I found myself at Emy's Woven Art Clay workshop held at Pātaka Art + Museum. Working with my hands and being in a supportive space enabled a peaceful reconnection with oneself. Emy has the most beautiful aura, creating openness and leading the group with positive affirmations. Time and space completed melted away! I thoroughly recommend this to anyone who wishes to mould themselves, explore, and embrace stillness. It was much about the art as it was mindfulness. Thank you Emy x

I had a wonderful time at the mindful art workshop led by Emy. In my work as a therapist and Mum, I do a lot of giving, so it felt like such a gift to have this dedicated space for reflection, creativity and connection. The atmosphere was welcoming, tranquil and spacious. I loved the cacao ceremony and Emy's beautiful singing, and the time to journal and contemplate what we are grateful for. The clay art was a new process for me and I enjoyed getting into the process of it, without focusing on the end result.
Emy made sure we were well looked after with yummy snacks and tea provided throughout the afternoon, and even an art giveaway to three lucky participants. I really appreciated this space to pause and focus on me.

I recently attended the Mindful Clay Workshop with Emy, and it was such a beautiful, uplifting experience. From the moment we began with the cacao and gratitude ritual, I felt myself slow down and reconnect with the present. Emy’s gentle guidance made creating my own clay art feel effortless and joyful, especially since I'm a beginner with very little artistic sense, I felt completely at ease.

The art I made is now in my office, along with one of Emy's pieces, and I love them. They're colorful, vibrant, and a daily reminder of the positivity in my life.

The whole atmosphere of the workshop was welcoming and inspiring, and I left feeling both relaxed and creatively fulfilled. I highly recommend this workshop.

I met Emy when she attended my KGHypnobirthing antenatal course when pregnant with her first baby! Emy is a precious person and it was a privilege to attend her workshop with my teenager, who is very creative. It was a special time together, crafting side by side and taking time out of busy family life. Emy created a calm, supportive atmosphere and the group got on well. I'd highly recommend to any parent with a creative teen!

Emy’s workshop was such a wonderful experience! Before we started with art we did a lovely cacao ceremony and some breath work meditation which gave us the right mindset for the intentional art session. The topic was growth and Emy guided us through the topic that reflected then in our art work. Emy showed us amazing techniques on how to handle clay on paper and we were able to use lots of different tools that were provided .
It was such a beautiful escape from the daily life and a long needed break for me, a busy toddler mum! It was so refreshing to be creative again and to reflect on your life while making art. We also had delicious nibbles and a fun raffle !
Thanks Emy for that wonderful afternoon! I can highly recommend to anyone who needs a break and wants to be creative. Emy offered us such a warm and friendly space to do so!

Such a beautiful moment and workshop, surrounded by lovely souls. I highly recommend doing the workshop, it's an amazing me time moment, where get to learn to draw with clay and go at your own pace, with a beautiful breathing moment. Emy is an amazing teacher and woman. Just allow you to that time for your inner self, you deserve it!

This is my second time at Emy’s workshop, and I loved every single bit of it 💛 I really enjoyed the theme of the workshop, which is growth. I loved that we spent some time to do breathe work, and also to reflect on ourselves and count our blessings 🕊️. I also really liked the way we could let our creative juices flow 👩🏻‍🎨. Highly recommend for people who want to try something new, and/or to give themselves some well-deserved quality me-time 💯.

This workshop was a much needed pause and reset to what has been a start to the year. Emy was very patient at guiding us with how to use the clay and encouraging us to explore creating what we feel. I enjoyed the workshop and am looking forward to creating more clay art in the future. Thanks Emy.

To spend a whole afternoon as a busy mum of two kids entirely focused on my own heart and creativity with such a lovely group of people was delightful. I absolutely loved the slow start with the cacao ceremony, intention setting, and breathwork that came with a beautiful mix of cultures. My friends and I are planning to create some more clay art at our next girl's night, and I'm looking forward to sharing this really accessible way of working with clay with my kids too.

This stunning piece is now in our living room and it catches your eyes every time you enter.
It brings so much joy and happiness when looking at it. It stands for the divine trust within but also for me it represents my partner’s and my love for each other .

My team and I did the Mindfulness with Clay workshop as a team building opportunity and it was so memorable. Emy created a lovely and relaxing 'retreat-like' atmosphere of tranquil music and warm cocoa followed by a fun clay activity suitable for any level of creative ability :) It was special to take a framed artwork home to remember the afternoon too. Highly recommend!
